An unprecedented offer from Mediamobile and

In May 2010, Mediamobile and Météo France developed a new application called Road&Weather to optimize and secure journey times for motorists throughout metropolitan France. This downloadable application from the AppStore on the iPhone accurately describes real-time traffic conditions and incidents (traffic jams, road construction ...) and provides additional information by posting the weather forecast for the coming hours.
Road&Weather innovative in more ways than one:
- Richer information about weather impacting the roads as weather phenomena (rain, wind, air temperature,) significantly impact traffic conditions and safety of road users
- Pertinent weather information on short delays and up to 4 days throughout the French territory to optimize the journey.

Accurate state of traffic through the integration of statistical data
Mediamobile has developed intelligent software that calculates the fastest route and travel time closest to reality. The integration of statistical data on traffic growth combined with "real time" observations can greatly reduce the margin of error on the prediction of travel time.
Reliable updated information
Beyond traditional sources, "real time" observations rely on data from hundreds of thousands of vehicles that transmit their pinpointed location. The combination of sources allows to quickly and accurately analyze the current state of traffic.
Extended network coverage
Mediamobile has quadrupled its V-Trafic service coverage with now more than 320,000 kilometers of roads and reaching the French cities of: Avignon, Bordeaux, Caen, Lille, Montpellier, Mulhouse, Nancy, Nantes, Nice, Niort, Pau, Poitiers, Rennes, Reims, Tours. Entire regions have gained network coverage as such Brittany and the Midi Pyrenees.
